The Charity was founded in 1812 for the benefit of expectant mothers.
The current Scheme was approved by the Charity Commissioners in 1974.
The Trustees shall generally apply the income of the Charity as they
think fit for the relief of nursing mothers resident in the area consisting
of the parishes of Warwick, Barford, Bishops Tachbrook, Budbrooke, Leek Wootton,
Old Milverton, Sherbourne and Whitnash, all in the County of Warwickshire, who
are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, either by making grants of money
or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the
need, hardship or distress of such persons.
The Trustees are prepared to accept applications meeting the above criteria
when the baby(ies) is/are born, and for a period thereafter of up to 24 months.
Grant Applications: Applications to the charity should be
made through your Health Visitor or Social Worker.
